As everyone knows Taiwan is a beautiful island which Portuguese called "Formosa ".

Taiwan's total land area is about 36,000 square kilometers (36 times to Hong Kong) with a population of 23 million. It is shaped like a leaf that is narrow at both ends. Taiwan could be separated into four parts: Northern, Central, Southern, and Eastern.
Northern Taiwan

The northern part of Taiwan includes the cities of Taipei, new Taipei, Keelung, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Yilan. Taipei is not only Taiwan's capital, but also its political, economically, and cultural center, which merges Eastern delicacies and Western culture, has become their first stop to know Asia. Taipei also offers a wide range of choices for shopping, entertainment, and fine dining. It's well developed city and even better than Hong Kong does.
Central Taiwan

Central Taiwan includes the counties of Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, and Nantou. Taichung City is located in the middle of Taiwan. Due to the moderate climate, Taichung is elected as one of best-living city in Taiwan to attract lots of people from the other cities in Taiwan or/and foreigners moving to. There is a significant transportation will run on 2017 which is MRT. It must benefit people come to travel or business.

Moreover, Nantou is known for Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, embraced by mountains, is one of the island's must-see attractions. It is only hours away from Taichung to fresh yourself during holidays.
Southern Taiwan

Southern Taiwan includes four major cities, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung and Chiayi. It is home to especially friendly people. Since it is one of the earliest developed areas of Taiwan, there are many places of historical interest. The harbor city of Kaohsiung is Taiwan's second largest city. Love River, situated in the city center, is one of the most scenic attractions in town. How we describe this city is "kindly people, slowly pace"; so if you are seeking a way of retirement, Kaohsiung must be your first choice. You can also go on a harbor cruise or take the ferry across to Cijin Island to see the many faces of Kaohsiung during day or night. Pingtung, Tainan, and Chiayi are all noted for historical, cultural and natural sightseeings.
Eastern Taiwan

The two counties of Hualien, and Taitung are located in the eastern part of Taiwan, which was developed later than other areas of the island. Hualien is the largest city in Eastern Taiwan, while Taitung is the island's third biggest county. The Taroko National Park is located in Hualien County and is famous for its great marble-walled gorge.
